An issue in the function
PdfDocument::Append() in PdfDocument.cpp allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference and application crash, via a crafted PDF document.Recommendations
For PoDoFo version 0.9.5, consider avoiding the use of the
PdfDocument::Append() function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the processing of crafted PDF documents to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
