Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the
pcxLoadRaster function of in pcx.cpp. This can be triggered by a crafted input, potentially leading to a denial of service or other unspecified impacts. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a service disruption.Recommendations
For sam2p version 0.49.4, consider avoiding the use of the
