Description The issue allows a memory-cache side-channel attack on ECDSA signatures, also known as the Return Of the Hidden Number Problem or ROHNP. This is related to files dsa/dsa.cpp, ec group/ec group.cpp, and ecdsa/ecdsa.cpp. To exploit this, an attacker needs access to either the local machine or a different virtual machine on the same physical host.

Recommendations For Botan versions 2.5.0 through 2.6.0, update to version 2.7.0 or later to resolve the issue.
