Description A carefully crafted file can trigger an infinite loop in Apache Tika's ChmParser, potentially leading to a Denial of Service (DoS). This issue can be exploited via a fuzzed file.

For org.apache.tika:tika-parsers versions prior to 1.18, update to version 1.18 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the ChmParser until a patch is available.
