Description This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations. User interaction is required, where the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The flaw exists within the getNthFieldName method, and by performing actions in JavaScript, an attacker can trigger a type confusion condition, leading to code execution under the context of the current process.

Recommendations For Foxit Reader version 9.0.1.1049, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the getNthFieldName method until a patch is available. However, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
