Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to conduct directory traversal attacks. This can be demonstrated by sending a POST request to the "/PY/EMULATION GET FILE" or "/PY/EMULATION EXPORT" API endpoints with the FileName variable set to a value like ../../../passwd in the POST data.

Recommendations For Harmonic NSG 9000, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /PY/EMULATION GET FILE and /PY/EMULATION EXPORT API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the FileName variable in these endpoints with values that could facilitate directory traversal attacks.
