Description The issue allows attackers to cause a crash of the PVFS dissector. This was resolved by preventing a NULL pointer dereference in the epan/dissectors/packet-pvfs2.c file.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.10, update to a version that includes the fix for the NULL pointer dereference in epan/dissectors/packet-pvfs2.c. For Wireshark versions 2.6.0 through 2.6.4, update to a version that includes the fix for the NULL pointer dereference in epan/dissectors/packet-pvfs2.c.
