Description
An issue exists in the XCF image rendering functionality, where a specially crafted XCF image can cause an out-of-bounds read on the heap, resulting in information disclosure. This can be triggered by displaying a specially crafted image.
Recommendations
For version 2.0.2, consider avoiding the use of XCF images until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the rendering of XCF images to minimize the risk of exploitation.
