Description
The issue is related to the
strlen sse2 pminub function in the infotocap utility of the ncurses-bin package, which is associated with null pointer dereference errors. Exploitation of this issue may allow an attacker to cause a denial of service by providing a specially crafted file as a command-line argument.Recommendations
