Description The issue is related to excessive memory allocation in the ReadBMPImage and ReadDIBImage functions, which can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service using a specially crafted image file. This can lead to a denial of service.
Recommendations For ImageMagick versions 7.0.8 through 7.0.11, consider updating to a version that fixes the excessive memory allocation issue in the ReadBMPImage and ReadDIBImage functions to prevent denial of service attacks.
