Description A buffer overflow issue was discovered, which can be triggered via base64 data. This issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is related to a buffer overflow, which can be exploited by a remote attacker.
Recommendations For Mutt versions prior to 1.10.1, update to version 1.10.1 or later to resolve the issue. For NeoMutt versions prior to 2018-07-16, update to a version released after 2018-07-16 to resolve the issue.
