Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Oracle Application Testing Suite component, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service.
Recommendations
For versions 12.5.0.3, 13.1.0.1, 13.2.0.1, and 13.3.0.1, consider restricting access to the Load Testing for Web Apps subcomponent until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Restrict access to sensitive data to prevent unauthorized read, update, insert, or delete access.
