Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read of a global buffer in the draw line function. This can be exploited by opening a crafted Ogg Vorbis file, allowing an attacker to cause a denial of service or disclose sensitive information.
Recommendations For stb vorbis versions through 2019-03-04, consider avoiding the use of the draw line function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the opening of Ogg Vorbis files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
