Description A cross-site scripting issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the PagingStart parameter in the getPagingStart() function in core/lists/PAGING.php.

Recommendations For versions prior to 5.8.2, update to version 5.8.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the getPagingStart() function until a patch is available. Avoid using the PagingStart parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
