Description The issue affects the Oracle Payments component, specifically the File Transmission subcomponent. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Payments. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, including creation, deletion, or modification of data, as well as the ability to cause a hang or crash of Oracle Payments.

Recommendations For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.8, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the File Transmission subcomponent until a patch is available.
