Description The issue arises from the BIG-IP system's failure to perform Martian Address Filtering on the control plane, which may allow attackers to force BIG-IP into processing packets with spoofed source addresses. This can occur when an attacker is on an adjacent system.

Recommendations For versions 11.5.1 through 11.6.5, update to a version that includes Martian Address Filtering on the control plane. For versions 12.1.0 through 12.1.5, update to a version that includes Martian Address Filtering on the control plane. For versions 13.0.0 through 13.1.3, update to a version that includes Martian Address Filtering on the control plane.
