Description A security feature bypass issue exists, allowing for the bypassing of Mark of the Web Tagging (MOTW). This could enable a remote attacker to bypass existing security restrictions and impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information using a specially crafted web page. Failing to set the MOTW means that a large number of Microsoft security technologies are bypassed.
