Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the i40e driver, which may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable a denial of service via local access. This could be exploited by an attacker to cause a disruption in service.
Recommendations For versions prior to 7.0, update to version 7.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting local access to minimize the risk of exploitation.
