Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Administrator web console of McAfee Web Gateway. It allows a remote attacker to conduct a clickjacking attack using a specially crafted web page that contains an iframe, as the web page does not send an X-Frame-Options HTTP header.

Recommendations For McAfee Web Gateway versions 7.8.2.x prior to 7.8.2.12, update to version 7.8.2.12 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Administrator web console to minimize the risk of exploitation.
