Description A potential security issue has been identified that involves the possible execution of arbitrary code during boot services, which can result in elevation of privilege. The EFI BOOT SERVICES structure might be overwritten by an attacker to execute arbitrary SMM (System Management Mode) code. This issue is due to insufficient input validation in the EFI BOOT SERVICES component of HP firmware.
