Description The issue is related to insufficient policy enforcement in downloads, allowing a local attacker to spoof downloaded files via local code. This can be exploited by creating an HTML page to impact data integrity.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 79.0.3945.79, update to version 79.0.3945.79 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of local code execution in Google Chrome until a patch is applied.
