Description
The issue is related to a lack of protection for service data in the MySQL Client C API component. It allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using the MySQL network protocol. The vulnerability is difficult to exploit and can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of MySQL Client accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 5.6.47 and prior, update to a version later than 5.6.47 to resolve the issue.
For versions 5.7.29 and prior, update to a version later than 5.7.29 to resolve the issue.
For versions 8.0.18 and prior, update to a version later than 8.0.18 to resolve the issue.
