Description The issue is related to a use-after-free error in the ENIP dissector of the Wireshark network traffic analyzer. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem arises from improper memory management.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.11, update the memory-management approach in the ENIP dissector to avoid use-after-free errors, as addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-enip.c.
