Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the encryption component of MySQL Server, allowing a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to read, modify, or delete data, or cause a denial of service. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical data or all accessible data, as well as the ability to cause a hang or crash of MySQL Server.
Recommendations For versions 8.0.31 and prior, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
