Description The issue arises when a guest performs a soft reset, which can cause the Xenstore to crash due to a bug in xenstored. This occurs because the libxl based Xen toolstack performs an XS RELEASE Xenstore operation during a soft reset. Any other use of XS RELEASE can also result in the crash of xenstored.
