Description The issue is related to a missing capability check on the vcita save settings callback function. This allows authenticated attackers with minimal permissions to modify the plugin's settings, upload arbitrary files, and inject malicious JavaScript.
Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 4.4.6, update to a version that includes a fix for the missing capability check on the vcita save settings callback function. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vcita save settings callback function to prevent unauthorized modification of data. Restrict file uploads and JavaScript injections to minimize the risk of exploitation.
