Description DHIS2 Core contains the service layer and Web API for DHIS2, an information system for data capture. Starting in the 2.37 branch, Personal Access Tokens (PATs) generate unrestricted session cookies, which may lead to a bypass of other access restrictions, such as those based on allowed IP addresses or HTTP methods.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.37.9.1, upgrade to version 2.37.9.1. For versions prior to 2.38.3.1, upgrade to version 2.38.3.1. For versions prior to 2.39.1.2, upgrade to version 2.39.1.2. As a temporary workaround, consider adding extra access control validations on a reverse proxy to minimize the risk of exploitation.
