Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Web Server component of Oracle BI Publisher. This allows a remote attacker to disclose protected information using HTTP requests. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle BI Publisher accessible data.

Recommendations For version 6.4.0.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For version 12.2.1.4.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Web Server component until a patch is available.
