Description
The issue is related to an out of bounds read past the end of an allocated structure while parsing specially crafted TIFF files. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process by presenting a specially crafted TIFF file for analysis.
Recommendations
For JT2Go versions prior to 14.2.0.5, update to version 14.2.0.5 or later.
For Teamcenter Visualization V13.2 versions prior to 13.2.0.14, update to version 13.2.0.14 or later.
For Teamcenter Visualization V14.1 versions prior to 14.1.0.10, update to version 14.1.0.10 or later.
For Teamcenter Visualization V14.2 versions prior to 14.2.0.5, update to version 14.2.0.5 or later.
For Siemens Solid Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
