Description
The issue is related to the function
TIFFReadDirectory() in the libtiff library, which can cause a denial of service when processing a crafted TIFF file. This can allow a remote attacker to exploit the vulnerability, leading to a denial of service. The vulnerability is associated with an infinite loop due to an unreachable exit condition.Recommendations
For versions prior to 4.4.0, update to version 4.4.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the
