Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the
vim regsub both() function of the Vim text editor, which can be exploited to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. This is a result of a buffer overflow in dynamic memory.Recommendations
For versions prior to 9.0.1873, update to version 9.0.1873 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the
