Description
The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the PDF-XChange Editor, specifically when parsing EMF files. This occurs due to the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a fixed-length heap-based buffer. An attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. User interaction is required, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file.
