Description
The issue is related to a use-after-free flaw in the
mailForm method of PDF-XChange Editor, which can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on affected installations. This requires user interaction, such as visiting a malicious page or opening a malicious file. The problem arises from the lack of validation of an object's existence before performing operations on it, allowing an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.Recommendations
