Description The issue is related to errors in processing input data, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. This can be achieved with a specially crafted XML query statement.

Recommendations For versions 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5, consider restricting the use of XML query statements until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using specially crafted XML query statements in the affected IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) versions. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
