Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Web Server component of Oracle BI Publisher. This allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise BI Publisher, potentially leading to unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of BI Publisher's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of BI Publisher's accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations For versions 6.4.0.0.0 and 7.0.0.0.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
