Description
The issue is related to an Access of Uninitialized Pointer, which could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file, potentially allowing an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 24.0 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the Access of Uninitialized Pointer issue.
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 23.6 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the Access of Uninitialized Pointer issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of potentially malicious MP4 files in Adobe Premiere Pro until a patch is available.
