Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Export All Posts, Products, Orders, Refunds & Users plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 2.13
Description
The issue is related to PHP Object Injection via deserialization of untrusted input in the
returnMetaValueAsCustomerInput function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. However, the vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present.Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 2.13, consider disabling the
returnMetaValueAsCustomerInput function until a patch is available to prevent PHP Object Injection. Restrict access to untrusted input to minimize the risk of exploitation. Additionally, review installed plugins and themes for potential POP chains and update or remove them as necessary to prevent potential attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Deserialization of Untrusted Data
