Description: The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write in the VS6MemInIF!set temp type default function. Opening specially crafted V7 or V8 files may lead to a crash, information disclosure, and arbitrary code execution.
Recommendations: For V-SFT versions 6.2.5.0 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of the VS6MemInIF!set temp type default function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the opening of V7 and V8 files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
