Não há classificações de severidade ou métricas disponíveis. Quando houver, atualizaremos as informações correspondentes na página.
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains an issue within the crypto QAT (Quality of Acceleration Technology) component related to DMA (Direct Memory Access) transfer direction handling. When the CONFIG DMA API DEBUG configuration option is enabled, running crypto self-tests on QAT algorithms can trigger a warning indicating unsupported overlapping mappings. This occurs when input and output scatter lists point to the same memory buffers, leading to the use of incorrect DMA mapping flags (DMA BIDIRECTIONAL) resulting in overlapped write mappings. The fix involves specifying correct DMA transfer directions—DMA TO DEVICE for input and DMA FROM DEVICE for output—when mapping buffers, and updating the qat alg free bufl() function accordingly. The issue manifests as a warning during testing, specifically: "DMA-API: 4xxx 0000:06:00.0: cacheline tracking EEXIST, overlapping mappings aren't supported."
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
