Description The xShare plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery. This is caused by a lack of nonce validation within the xshare plugin reset() function. An unauthenticated attacker could potentially reset the plugin’s settings by deceiving a site administrator into performing an action, such as clicking a malicious link.

Recommendations Update the xShare plugin to a version beyond 1.0.1.
