CVE-2026-23260

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Média

VetorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak exists in the regcache maple write() function within the Linux kernel’s regmap module. Specifically, when mas store gfp() fails during the allocation and merging of adjacent ranges, a newly allocated block, referred to as 'entry', is not freed, resulting in a memory leak. The function attempts to allocate a new block to merge adjacent ranges and store it using mas store gfp(). If this storage operation fails, the allocated 'entry' remains allocated and is never released.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
