**Description**
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the `recoveryMessage` parameter to the default URI. This enables attackers to execute malicious scripts on the client-side.
**Recommendations**
For versions prior to 5.9.7, update to version 5.9.7 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the recoveryMessage parameter in the default URI until a patch is applied.
