Linux · Linux Kernel · CVE-2026-46089
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Linux kernel (affected versions not specified) openSUSE Tumbleweed versions prior to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 **Description** A flaw exists in the zram module where partial discard requests are not properly handled. When a partial discard is requested, the system returns immediately without performing the discard work but fails to call the `bio endio()` function. This causes the `blkdiscard` process to sleep indefinitely within the `submit bio wait()` function. **Recommendations** Update to kernel-devel-7.0.11-1.1 for openSUSE Tumbleweed. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability for the Linux kernel.
