Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Microsoft Windows versions prior to the fixed version Description: A buffer overflow issue in the SNMP Service allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SNMP packet. Recommendations: For Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2, Server 2003, and Server 2003 SP1, update to a version that includes the fix for the SNMP Memory Corruption issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
