WordPress · The Advanced Social Feeds Widget & Shortcode · CVE-2024-0951
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** The Advanced Social Feeds Widget & Shortcode WordPress plugin versions 1.7 and earlier **Description** The issue concerns the lack of sanitization and escaping of some settings in the plugin, which could allow high-privilege users, such as admins, to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. This is possible even when the unfiltered html capability is disallowed, for example, in a multisite setup. **Recommendations** For The Advanced Social Feeds Widget & Shortcode WordPress plugin version 1.7 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the sanitization and escaping of settings to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
