**Description**
The issue concerns incorrect authorization during the display of Audit Events in GitLab EE. This allowed Developers to view the project's Audit Events and Developers or Maintainers to view the group's Audit Events, which should have been restricted to Project Maintainers, Group Owners, and above.
**Recommendations**
For GitLab EE versions 14.5 through 15.3.4, update to version 15.3.5 or later.
For GitLab EE versions 15.4 through 15.4.3, update to version 15.4.4 or later.
For GitLab EE versions 15.5 through 15.5.1, update to version 15.5.2 or later.
