Netwin · Surgemail · CVE-2010-3201
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** NetWin Surgemail versions prior to 4.3g **Description** A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the `username ex` parameter to the surgeweb program. This enables attackers to execute malicious scripts on the client-side. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 4.3g, update to version 4.3g or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the `username ex` parameter in the surgeweb program to minimize the risk of exploitation.
