**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Firefox versions prior to 73 Firefox ESR versions prior to 68.5 Thunderbird versions prior to 68.5 **Description** The issue is related to memory safety bugs that can cause memory corruption. It is presumed that these bugs could be exploited to run arbitrary code with sufficient effort. These flaws are potentially risky in browser or browser-like contexts, but they cannot be exploited through email in the Thunderbird product due to disabled scripting when reading mail. **Recommendations** For Firefox versions prior to 73, update to version 73 or later. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 68.5, update to version 68.5 or later. For Thunderbird versions prior to 68.5, update to version 68.5 or later.
