FFmpeg · Ffmpeg · CVE-2011-4031
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** FFmpeg versions prior to 0.8.3 **Description** The issue is related to an integer underflow in the `asfrtp parse packet` function, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted ASF packet. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 0.8.3, update to version 0.8.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the `asfrtp parse packet` function in `libavformat/rtpdec asf.c` until a patch is applied.
