**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** MapSVG plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 8.6.4 **Description** The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via SVG File uploads due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the SVG file. **Recommendations** For versions up to, and including, 8.6.4, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue to prevent Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
